As an American, I feel it is my patriotic duty to share these words with my fellow Americans.

Rapidly moving into the upcoming 2024 general election, it’s time for some side-by-side Lincoln Project videos of Donald J. Trump and Adolf Hitler. Keep the legal heat on (holding fast to 2024 trial dates) and call out all the election deniers who still roam the Capitol after their collective butts were saved by the Capitol and Metro D.C. police on Jan. 6.

Make “Springtime for Trumpster” a smash comedy hit of the election season, with his references to preventing World War II, the Continental Army protecting the “airports” of the Revolutionary War era, and how much thicker his orange-hue makeup is these days since he turned 77. We all need to laugh more, and he is the perfect vehicle to be ridiculed into insignificance.

Those aren’t my words; they came from an acquaintance. I felt the need to share them with my fellow Americans to lighten the darn mood this nation is in at this time.

Vote blue, people; vote like the freedoms you enjoy every day are at stake — because they are.
