Letter to the editor: Lawmakers should pray
Lawmakers, make a commitment to use the Congressional Prayer Room. When considering important legislation for our country, the prayer room offers a quiet place to consider, discuss and pray about essential items on your agenda.
“But when you pray, you should go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen” (Matthew 6:6-7). He will make the decision quickly. It could be “yes,” “no” or “wait.”
Satan can hinder the answer you are hoping for, but he cannot stop it.
