Letter to the editor: Legacy media no longer credible

Tribune-Review

The “legacy media” spent much of the last four years trying to cover up the fact that President Biden was diminished physically and mentally to the point that many believed him to be unfit to serve. In my opinion, they helped the Democrats hide Biden from scrutiny by ignoring his holding of only a few solo press conferences and even fewer open conferences where reporters were free to ask anything, a practice Trump does nearly every day. And they “soiled themselves” by attempting to divert the public’s attention away from Biden’s decline by repeating Democrat claims that he was “on top of his game.”

They insulted America by telling us not to believe our own eyes or ears when we saw him stumble and bumble in public. Some Dems called these news videos “deep fakes,” and much of the legacy media repeated these claims without questions. Who was running the country? Who elected Jill Biden? Or Hunter? And who controlled the autopen? They called Trump a threat to democracy while they trashed democracy every day.

Is there any doubt these scoundrels planned to let this scandal disappear if the Dems won the election? But their plan was foiled by Trump’s victory and now they are claiming they were duped. That’s baloney. The legacy media has lost any credibility they claimed to have and are now desperate to make you believe they are pure.

This scandal is possibly the worst in U.S. history, and the media will never live it down. Trust destroyed is trust lost. Legacy media is dead.
