The writer of the letter “Time to repurpose the Trump House” (July 25, TribLIVE) needlessly bashes Republican Rep. Leslie Rossi and clearly employs a common Marxist tactic of waging class warfare.

This is an unfair attack. If he knew Rossi, he’d know she grew up in a middle-class family, her mother a grocery store proprietor, her father a steelworker. If he’d met her, he’d know she’s extremely humble.

During her campaign, she knocked on my door and asked me what issues I cared about and for my vote. I visited the Trump House, and she gave me a tour and supplied me and my family with gear because she’s a believer in classic American values.

To make baseless insinuations about people because you disagree with them politically or because you’re envious of their success is both shameful and pathetic. I think if the Trump House is ever repurposed, it should become a mental hospital for those communists and anti-Americans alike that suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, so they can get the help they need.
