Letter to the editor: Let's change Dems' name to Communist Party

I see one of the cadre of radical left Trump-hating letter-writers has now suggested changing the name of the White House to something he thinks is more befitting a medieval castle because he thinks the current president is acting like a king (”Let’s rename the White House,” Dec. 5, TribLive). Obviously, the writer has conveniently forgotten that the previous president and his henchmen ruined the country, in my opinion, by issuing unilateral executive orders and policy changes that were not only authoritarian, they were anti-American.

President Biden and the Democrats destroyed our borders, started a war on fossil fuels, weaponized the government against Republicans, allowed many illegal and domestic criminals to wantonly rape and murder U.S. citizens without consequence, kill 100,000 Americans every year through illegal drugs, and supported Islamic terrorism all over the world, even giving Iraq nuclear capability, and corrupted many government agencies for their own selfish benefit.

Democrats hate Trump because he is fixing all the stupid and awful things they did. So here’s a better idea. Let’s change the name of the Democratic Party to what it really is … let’s call it the American Communist Party. Democrats have proven to me beyond a doubt that they hate America. They have allowed admitted communists and socialists to take over the party, so let’s stop them from hiding behind a name they definitely are not. And let’s reject these communists at every election in the future.
