The writer of the letter “We’ve gone from best president to worst” (March 24, TribLIVE) seems so enthralled with his hero from Mar-a-Lago, I’m surprised he didn’t cite any of Trump’s alleged wonders. Perhaps he was thinking of Trump’s attempted coup. Gee, most Americans call that treason!

Let’s look at some of his savior’s doings and compare them to President Biden’s. Trump talked about the southern border.

What was his solution? Taking children away from their parents with seemingly no way of getting them back. That’s your hero?

What about Trump’s “bromance” with Kim Jong Un? Trump was enthralled with Kim Jong Un’s pretense. I guess he never thought of negotiating over missiles and bombs, which is why today, North Korea has missiles that can reach our cities with nuclear bombs.

Biden is actually working for everyone and has been for the past two years. Why the economy? Trump passed on a nearly $2 trillion unpaid debt for tax cuts to the rich and corporations; under Trump, that deficit went up every year. Under Biden, the deficit has fallen by $1.7 trillion.

Biden’s reforms to Big Pharma, lower prescription drug costs and making the wealthy and large corporations pay their fair share will most likely reduce Trump’s deficit by hundreds of billions more.
