The president and his administration need to prioritize and address problems of this country. They waste time talking about doing away with dishwashers, stoves and other crazy things and yet they ignore important issues. Inflation is costing consumers too much to buy products, and now some costs are being driven even higher because of retail theft increasing drastically. Are they sleeping at the wheel? It seems we are doing nothing, and it’s only getting worse.

We should take current laws and create stiffer penalties, like incarceration, and prosecute these criminals quickly. Today many of them get out on bail immediately. This should stop; it’s like a slap on their hands. It’s like no one cares, and it’s OK to smash and grab or steal from any retail establishment.

We could solve this problem if we made some changes. It’s the same with our border: If our president and administration wanted to fix the problems, they could.

Let’s quit discussing dishwashers, air conditioners, furnaces and gas stoves and address problems like retail theft and problems at the border. Let’s use some common sense to keep our country the best country in the world.
