While growing up as a kid, my parents, teachers and most other adults preached and used the term ” common sense” as a means of explaining right from wrong. It was and still is a simple theory in itself. It forced you to put yourself in the position of the action or person that was wronged, and forced you to use your brain along with your heart to think and understand why your actions were not acceptable. I used this theory while raising my children and still use it today with my grandkids.

As I view the political landscape today, I see very little common sense from most of the decisions made by our representatives. In fact, most go way beyond common sense. Their decisions seem to serve only the purpose of their own personal agendas, and it’s never been worse than right now. Those who can’t see this better start to get some old-fashioned common sense in their heads and hearts before it is too late.
