Very few politicians are venerated by all voters. FDR and JFK are examples. Most voters hated or loved them.
My grandmother, a very mild-mannered lady, would hiss if someone mentioned FDR. He started the decline of this country. He pushed through Social Security (a Ponzi scheme, in my opinion), greatly grabbed more power for the federal government, introduced the idea that there was no shame in receiving welfare and deliberately got us into World War II to help his friend Winston Churchill.
JFK caused the Cuban missile crisis, allowed the Berlin Wall to be built and had several open affairs while in the White House. What a president!
Donald Trump is in the same group. He is not a saint; he has faults. But many millions of Americans believe he has the best interests of all Americans in his mind.
There are Americans who aren’t sure about the Harris-Walz ticket. However, they despise Trump. Who should they vote for?
May I make a suggestion for these people? Either write in a candidate you approve of or stay home. Ask yourself this question, and be honest: Would you be better off personally with Kamala Harris or Trump as our next president? And please don’t believe everything the mainstream press tells you. Look a little deeper.
