I have to ask letter-writer Dave Majernik (“Beware of mail-in ballots,” July 21, TribLIVE) if he did a mail-in ballot. Well, myself, my husband and my 96-year-old mother did. It was our first time, and it was very easy.
And just let me remind you that possibly the pandemic played a factor in the record voter turnout due to mail-in ballots. But also, just possibly, the previous four years of what our country had to deal with (mainly the lies) might have had a factor in the record turnout.
Instead of continuing to find reasons for the “big lie” to come true, why don’t we accept the truth and help our country heal? God bless America!
