There is certainly a lot of noise about the Oz/Fetterman race for U.S. Senate, and a good deal of radio silence about the gubernatorial race. You might not know that Sen. Doug Mastriano is running.
For my money, the governor’s race is much more important to us Pennsylvanians, when you recall how much power Gov. Tom Wolf and other Democratic governors wielded over their states, whether you’re talking about shutting down our energy production, lockdowns of small businesses and schools, or affecting our elections. These policies collapsed our Pennsylvania economy, killed legitimate businesses and substituted them with lotteries and marijuana, even allowing fentanyl to take the lives of our youth.
Wolf, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman and Josh Shapiro all played major roles in these disastrous policies. As attorney general, Shapiro presided over the largest crime wave, especially in Philadelphia when he and Wolf allowed District Attorney Larry Krasner to remain in office with impunity while allowing cashless bail and minimal prosecutions of violent offenders.
Shapiro may come off as the more polished candidate with all his support from our media, Democratic coffers and the teachers union, but Mastriano wins hands down as far as integrity is concerned. Please give him a chance to put Pennsylvania back to work and school, put criminals back in jail, and put money back in our pockets. Check out his website for a truer picture of a man with many good ideas for us, and not the “far-right” candidate that many would have you believe him to be.
