The writer of the letter “Where does Dave McCormick live?” (July 10, TribLive) should know that you can’t be on the ballot unless you live in Pennsylvania. Sen. Bob Casey has been in office for 18 years. We only hear from him six months before the November election. Now he says he is going to close the border. Where has he been the last three-plus years?
We need a new senator, and McCormick is the man for the job. He is a West Point graduate, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and a combat veteran. He is a hardworking businessman.
He has promised to close the border and stop the Chinese, who have bought 349,442 acres of U.S. farmland as of 2022 next to 19 U.S. military bases, an alarming threat to national security. He has promised to make it illegal for the Chinese to buy any more U.S. property. I have no idea why the Biden administration permitted this to happen under their watch.
Along with McCormick, it’s time to put Donald Trump back into office to take care of the mess created by the Biden administration.
