Letter to the editor: Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver more than food

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the people involved in Meals on Wheels. It isn’t just the food they deliver. Some seniors spend their days never seeing or speaking to another person. That tap on the door, a “hi” or a wave, knowing someone cares enough to volunteer, means a great deal.
