When are Greensburg and Latrobe going to do away with metered parking? It’s 25 cents for 15 minutes to park. I would love to shop in downtown Greensburg and Latrobe more often, but when I go I feel the need to run in, get what I need and run back out. There are great restaurants, but you need to plan and watch the time as you eat.

What does this money fund? The police, firemen, roads? Does it benefit the community? How about free parking for those who work and/or live there?

The shops and restaurants deserve to be supported, but I talk to people all the time who do not support them because of the metered parking.
