Letter to the editor: Methodist Church, LGBT & judgment
Jan Lee’s letter “Methodist Church & LGBT people” (March 13, TribLIVE) was spot on. Imagine, a bouncer at church. You are right: Jesus was not at that church because, if he were, the bouncer would have been bounced out. I, for one, would not attempt to enter that church.
I wonder if they would accept a donation of a couple hundred thousand dollars from an LGBT group? You bet they would; after all, they could do a lot of good with that amount of money. Money talks and LGBT walks.
Don’t give up your belief in Jesus. He loves us all. Didn’t he say, “Judge not lest you be judged”?
