Do you believe the United States economy was better under President Biden or President Trump? Do you believe Trump is a criminal, a dictator, or do you believe that Biden was incompetent and the worst president in our country’s 279-year history?

Unfortunately our beliefs most likely depend on which media we follow. And a recent poll indicated that our media was one of the least trusted civic organizations in the USA. I believe that the corporate-owned “legacy” media like CNN, CBS, MSNBC, The New York Times and The Washington Post consistently repeat misinformation and partial truths to control their narrative in support of their entrenched point of view, which is strongly liberal left. Most of their point of view is directed against Trump.

And now we find out that the “legacy” media covered up Biden’s failing cognition during his presidency. Honest reporting by the media is essential to the proper functioning of our democracy.

I believe the Washington, D.C., left-leaning Democratic Party does not operate on long-term principles, but reacts to what is politically expedient to get elected; their goals are not what’s best for the country, but what’s best to protect their power, jobs and incomes from their hated enemy, President Donald J. Trump.

With all this, is it any wonder that the majority of informed Americans do not trust the mainstream “legacy” media?
