The Mueller report has done many things, but one of the most important, it has vindicated the journalists in this country. In numerous incidents, Robert Mueller’s comments have confirmed what the press has written and cast doubt on the president’s allegations of fake news.

Only Laura Ingraham, who must have read a redacted White House summary of the report, suggests that the press should apologize to Fox News Channel for its phony coverage.

This report also vindicates our Founding Fathers who wrote the First Amendment to our Constitution, which guarantees a free press. This is the same free press whose members our president, during numerous rallies, points out as enemies of the people.

Members of the press are the true warriors of the people. They point out when our leaders have no clothes. Their constant vigilance protects our democracy. The first thing a dictator will do is silence the press. Our citizens should be wary of any leader who viciously attacks our press.
