It’s a sad and disgusting state we live in when vehicle drivers and passengers have absolutely no respect for others’ property, winding down their windows and tossing out trash. The food wrappers, cans, bottles and plastics that litter our roadways show what our culture has become. There is no excuse for this inconsiderate behavior other than it exposes a person’s thoughtless, uncaring character. My question to those guilty is, “What makes you think you have the right to do so?”

Pennsylvania is a beautiful state, yet some are oblivious to trashing it. Eventually volunteers risk their lives walking the roads and picking up this unsightly debris.

I’m certain most of those guilty of throwing trash out of their vehicles would complain if someone discarded rubbish in their front yards.

All it takes is a trash bag in your vehicle that can be tossed in the garbage can at home. Please take care of our environment.
