Letter to the editor: No joy if Harris gets elected

Tribune-Review

I have lived through the last 14 presidents, and what I have learned over the last 60-some adult years is that you can’t believe what a politician tells you. You can only believe by witnessing what he or she has done or screwed up.

Kamala Harris is starting to tell us about what she is going to do and what changes she is going to make from what she has done in the past, but is that the truth? Harris has always been on the Democratic far left and leans toward that socialistic side of the party. She said she is going to make changes toward a more moderate side; then why did she choose a far-left individual for her running mate?

While in the Senate she has voted, to break ties, for the far-left President Biden agenda every time. She was supposed to be the person dealing with the border crisis, but I don’t think she did anything, and neither did other Democrats supposedly dealing with that problem.

So, can we believe she is becoming a moderate? Wait a minute — didn’t Biden do that too, from his basement, but then when elected, he immediately went far left?

“Joy” is her theme, but there has been no joy in Mudville for the past 3½ years of Biden-Harris leadership. They have allowed an unsecure border and created a bad economy, and crime is rampant . We better be very careful who we vote for this time or we can kiss this country goodbye.
