I support the reelection of Judge Cheryl Peck Yakopec. I think everybody knows how well qualified, experienced and evenly tempered Yakopec has been for the last 29 years. Clearly that is why no one has run against her in so long.
Those of us who see her out in the public eye see how she always goes the extra mile for her constituents. People are continuously approaching her in public places to explain their legal situation or problem, and she never ignores them. She will give people an hour if necessary, and this is not at the office.
Yakopec is also the kind of judge who will come to your home to marry your kids, notarize your will or bring you forms from her office. She has married over 3,000 people.
Yakopec loves her job and her constituents. No one can improve on her performance over the past three decades. We do not need change, and we have the justice we need and like.
