After reading that Westmoreland County reported 90 covid-related deaths in the first 12 days of December, I was appalled to read the North Huntingdon solicitor’s comments (“North Huntingdon says ‘no’ to Wolf’s limits on indoor crowds,” Dec. 11, TribLIVE). In response to an upcoming open township meeting, his comments that “I’d pack the place. I think the guy (Gov. Wolf) is out of his mind” were unbelievably reckless and totally irresponsible.
It is because of this lack of leadership by public officials that our children and grandchildren are forced into remote learning, local hospitals are filling up and health care workers are overwhelmed.
