Letter to the editor: Not all scientists are objective
Recent disclosures have shown that not all scientists are objective in their actions. Many in the general public and even the press are now finally starting to question the “science” supporting the covid-19 response.
It is now evident that political and even financial incentives were the rationale for many of the statements, letters, “studies” and actions of some in our scientific community. This is a shameful indictment for all to see. All of us have been affected by these actions, and many of us could see that they did not meet our commonsense standard, whether it was masking, availability of effective therapeutics, the Wuhan lab leak hypothesis (by the way, have you noticed that the Wuhan lab name on the building is in both Chinese and English? What the …?), real numbers of deaths of people from covid versus with covid, “super spreader” events that did not super spread, stay indoors/stay outside, the flip-flops, etc.
Now we need to apply the same commonsense logic and real science to the “climate change” issue. Did the scientists skew the numbers? Did they have financial and political motivations? Were views from scientists with dissenting facts shunned in academia and the press just as those now shown correct concerning covid?
This is not as easy to uncover but no less important. And the effect on us all is even more life-changing.
