Letter to the editor: Obama's transformation

An opinion formed by research, facts, observation, logic and common sense:

President Obama promised to “fundamentally transform” our country. We elected him anyway! So, gradually, MLK’s dream of a colorblind society was replaced with reignited racial tension. The IRS, DOJ and FBI began to be politicized and weaponized against the conservative citizenry. Religion, patriotism, the flag and respect for the military and police became worthy of ridicule.

Hillary Clinton was to grab the baton and continue the destruction, but President Trump miraculously won. So, the congressional Democrats, the DOJ and FBI and compliant media began the relentless, endless barrage of accusations, impeachments and harassment, thus punishing our country by crippling its leader.

It’s obvious to me that Obama is President Biden’s ventriloquist, and so the assault on the heart and soul and very fabric of our country resumed.

Hundreds of thousands of our citizens are dead and dying from the fentanyl and crime entering through our southern border. Democrat-run public schools are failing miserably at teaching basic skills while exposing our children to inappropriate race, sex and gender issues.

I could fill this page with examples of the now rampant depravity in our society and evidence of the encroaching police state. It appears that Obama has been wildly successful in achieving his goal. Perhaps congratulations are in order.
