Regarding the article “Leechburg man defends obscene anti-Biden flag visible from preschool, daycare, church” (May 21, TribLIVE): Yes, sir, you have the right to fly that flag as high as you choose. However, why must you express your political views in such a crass, graphic way?

I had a political sign on my property; the election is over and I removed it. It is over and we must move on.

Bad language is so acceptable nowadays, and it is promulgated by public signs, gestures and actions. This is the easy way out.

Instead, use this medium right here. Impress us with good words, clear logic and convincing argument. Take your time; I’ll wait for a reply. It takes more effort to construct good writing than hoisting a piece of cloth.
