Regarding the article “Details from Oakmont girl’s death resemble physical, psychological torture” (June 25, TribLIVE): Children are not asked to be born into this world, and if you are a parent, be the right kind of parent or give up your rights if you don’t want to take the responsibility. Just because you are a biological parent does not mean you should be granted custody when you can’t even take care of yourself; give the child up for adoption.

The horrid abuse Bella endured in her short 3 years, and that there was no one advocating for her safety, is appalling. Some children don’t have a chance in this world if they don’t have the right parents or advocates. Eternal repose, Bella.
