My favorite boxer of all time was featured in the article “Paul Spadafora’s rise to world champion, fall from grace chronicled in ‘Fighting Till The End’ ” (Jan. 12, TribLive) by Kevin Gorman. It highlighted his stunning career and equally tragic life story in a new book that I immediately ordered. Great to hear he’s doing so well and that he’s married to Nadine, who has been there for him time after time. After all his ups and downs he deserves recognition for trying repeatedly to conquer his demons. Still a big fan and he’s still the champ in my book.
