As a local attorney and retired state representative who served on the House Judiciary Committee, I have known Judge Cheryl Peck Yakopec for more than 34 years. I have appeared before many magisterial district judges, and Peck Yakopec is one of the best. She is honest, firm but fair, and very knowledgeable. Given her background and experience, Peck Yakopec is an excellent choice for magisterial district judge.

Peck Yakopec follows the judicial ethical code and is an experienced attorney; however, when she was elected as our judge, she committed herself full time to the position. Peck Yakopec does not have any outside income, but her opponent has a lucrative private law office.

Ask yourself, will Peck Yakopec’s opponent give up the decades of her lucrative law practice in Vandergrift to be magisterial district judge? Don’t be fooled by false or misleading political ads. Peck Yakopec already has proven to be a full time magisterial district judge, available 24 hours, 7 days a week, and will serve for six years without outside distractions.

Cheryl Peck Yakopec is the best choice for the position. On Nov. 7, please vote for Cheryl Peck Yakopec for magisterial district judge.
