Both Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and District Attorney Stephen Zappala are grandstanding as politicians do. I’m not impressed. This is a no-brainer.

In the mayor’s oath of office, did he swear to uphold the constitutions of the United States and the commonwealth? Did members of City Council do the same? If they did, did they think a sworn or affirmed oath is meaningless? If they did take an oath and they violate their oath of office, they should be impeached for even considering passing laws in violation of the constitutions.

Do a Right to Know for a copy of the oath sworn to uphold by the mayor and council. That would be interesting.
