What do you find to be the most distressing thing that you have faced in the last two months? Is it the loss of security and hope, loss of job, loss of freedom, loss of a family member or friend, loss of a financial fortune?

Between the news coverage, social media, political correctness and our government’s choices, we can’t help but be filled with anxiety.

The public pronouncements from talking heads following the daily news briefings have done nothing but divide us. You are left feeling as though you are the worst person on earth if you disagree.

At the end of the day, government is illogical, uncaring, unfeeling, treats you like you are stupid and cares about being right more than being helpful. More government is not the solution. We are the solution to get things done. The volunteer efforts of many go largely unnoticed. As for our government, we should always voice our displeasure when things are not right. That should, however, be tempered as constructive criticism.

Government is not commerce/business. Governments do not create things; they take from producers to fund it. Without commerce, there is no society.

The government is not society or business; it is a construct for order.
