For the first time in memory, I believe Americans will select the form of government we will be living under for generations. Will it be America’s system of freedom, with its opportunities for all to grow and enjoy the fruits of that freedom? Or will it be socialism, with its high taxes and restrictions on every phase of our lives?
I think the socialists will enact crushing taxes to kill businesses and employment, eliminate fossil fuels, expand abortion on demand up to birth, and ration health care — the list goes on and on.
The socialist system is the first step to communism, which has ruined every nation where it’s been tried — Russia, the countries of eastern Europe, China, North Korea, Cuba and most notably Venezuela, one of the richest countries in the Western Hemisphere whose people are now starving in the streets.
Is that the formula you want for your children and grandchildren? A vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris could bring you that crushing life of socialism and communism. If Biden wins and can’t carry out his term, our nation would be left to Harris and, I believe, the downward spiral described earlier.
A vote for Donald Trump will finish righting our ship following the Chinese pandemic and expand our opportunities into the future. We need a strong, no-nonsense leader with the track record to make that happen.
In spite of all his human faults, I’ll vote for Trump — for my family’s sake, and that of yours.
