Letter to the editor: Playing politics with pandemic

Tribune-Review

The pandemic will end. Will Pennsylvanians have an economy left, or will Gov. Tom Wolf have destroyed it?

Democrats, including Wolf, can’t understand how President Trump won the election. How could Pennsylvania vote for Trump? He must be destroyed at any cost, even if Pennsylvania’s economy is decimated.

Of course, Trump will be blamed for the spread of the virus and the number of deaths. He didn’t act quickly enough, help the states enough. The press will carry willingly that message to the voters. They are sycophants.

The president insisted on social distancing. He did not tell the states to close down bars, liquor stores, car dealers, small businesses, restaurants, libraries, gyms, cinemas, amusement parts, zoos, parades, etc. Wolf gets the credit for those closures. With not much open, the state isn’t taking in much revenue. Unemployment is rampant.

Let’s remember to give Wolf the credit for all of these things. Also, we should continue to protest in Harrisburg. Call your state representative and complain. Stir up a little unrest among your family and friends.

Wolf and other Democratic governors didn’t create the virus. It is a very serious thing. However, they are using it to promote their political agenda. How many businesses will not reopen? How many people’s lives are they disrupting?

It is time to quit playing politics. Open the country. Open up Pennsylvania now.
