SQUAW(king) about the changing of the name of Squaw Valley Park (“O’Hara Council: Squaw Valley Park is now O’Hara Township Community Park”)! Does the council understand how many times the term “squaw” appears in famous historical novels, films, etc.? Not to mention ski resorts? Should all these now be changed because someone’s feelings might hurt?

Political correctness by those who think they know best is an embarrassment.

My uncle was a City of Greensburg police officer in the 1950s and ’60s and at that time the word “cop” was a derogatory term. Look where we are now.
