I recently ordered a Harris-Walz bumper sticker for my car and decided to buy a magnetic one to easily remove and then reapply it. Since we live in a majority Republican area, my husband is worried about damage to my car and also my safety!

What’s happening? My parents emigrated from Germany with two little girls in 1951 to escape political violence, looking for peace and believing in the freedom of America. I love this wonderful country, and although I don’t agree with many of my Republican friends, I respect their rights of free speech and expression. We should be able to talk and discuss issues without personal attacks.

Since the attempt to stop the certification of President Biden on Jan. 6, 2021, I’m worried we will have violence again if Vice President Kamala Harris wins.
