Letter to the editor: Proper police procedure

If the Minneapolis police had followed proper procedure in the George Floyd case, they would have put him in their patrol car, informed him of the charge against him and read him his rights. Had they taken that action, Lloyd would mostly likely be alive today. He would certainly not be running away after being handcuffed behind his back for a charge of trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.
