Letter to the editor: Protesting in the Twilight Zone

“Peaceful protesters” vandalize a statue of the pioneer of peaceful protesting — Mahatma Gandhi.

The same protesters who in the past probably carried signs that read “Stop Climate Change” stop traffic on busy interstate highways, creating miles-long stoppages, with thousands of cars idling and spewing climate-changing CO2.

In numerous cities buildings and cars are “peacefully” set ablaze, spewing thick black smoke into atmosphere — more climate damage.

There is video of white rioters attacking a black man. The corrupt media doesn’t hype it — because the black man is a police officer?

At least two black police officers have been murdered in the “protests against racism.” Other black police officers are fired for using “excessive force” (AKA enforcing the law) against rioters.

“Peaceful protesters” “peacefully throw bricks” at police officers’ heads.

Some Democrats claim the violence is being orchestrated by “white supremacists and Russians,” yet the same Democrats condemn and halt any police attempt to get tough on the rioting “white supremacists and Russians.” Hollywood celebrities pay the bail to free the “white supremacists and Russians” from jail. (Note quotes: The left is literally tripping over its own lies these days.)

The leftist rioters show solidarity with another left bloc — union labor — by destroying the AFL-CIO headquarters in Washington, D.C. It seems this Frankenstein the left created is hard to control.

We have entered the Twilight Zone.
