I have been an Excela Health nurse for over 28 years. I am so proud of our leadership under CEO John Sphon and Dr. Carol Fox, chief medical officer. Their constant communication to their staff regarding covid-19 is proof of their dedication to our safety and well-being, as well as our community that we serve.

Our first priority is to deliver safe, skillful care to our patients. Our staff has responded to the challenges of this pandemic on a daily basis.

The support of our community by random acts of kindness has been a shining light in dark times. The other day, Noviello’s Sunset Café sent pizzas to our unit, and Pantalone Funeral Home donated cases of water. These uplifting acts of kindness push us to work harder, love more, and reach out and touch the hearts of our families, friends and neighbors.

“And the world came together as the people stayed apart.”
