I would like to offer a sincere congratulations to the state champion Penn-Trafford football team.

Because of car probems, I walked 2½ miles in the rain from my home in Irwin to the Penn-Trafford football stadium on a Saturday afternoon to welcome home the state champions. Why would a 71-year-old man walk over 2 miles to the stadium? The answer is quite simple: I love America, and for the USA to have a future of freedom and prosperity, it definitely needs young, strong, humble, hard-working, God-fearing men — and that’s who makes up the Penn Trafford football team.

With pride and sincerity, I offer the strongest love and highest respect to the players and their awesome coaches. My state champion shirt was a Christmas present to be cherished forever.
