Letter to the editor: Proud of Trump?

President Trump’s supporters say Democrats are haters because we dislike Trump. What’s not to like about your brave president? When Trump saw peaceful demonstrators across the street from the White House, he went to the underground bunker. Oh wait — he went to inspect the bunker in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and a worldwide protest against police brutality.

When news of the incident came out, Trump had to show his supporters just how brave he is by ordering federal officers to push back peaceful demonstrators in Lafayette Square by using “smoke canisters and pepper balls” (like tear gas and rubber bullets) so he could have his picture taken in front of a church. That seems to be about as close as Trump gets to going into a church. I don’t know of any good Christian who approved of that stupid stunt.

Trump also showed how much he cares about his supporters by having them sign waivers to agree not to sue him if they got sick at his Oklahoma rally. That I don’t understand, since covid-19 is a hoax and fake news created by the Democrats.

The more Trump lies, it seems the more his supporters love him. Now there’s a leader you can look up to and be proud of.

Yeah, let’s make America great again. The whole world is laughing.
