Letter to the editor: Put a real man in the White House
For the past year and a half I have read solid opinions of experts on the candidates, and I now am convinced that another four years of President Trump would be the end of our democracy. It’s all there on tape.
I honestly thought he would stop his name-calling and bullying when he entered the White House. Not so. Actually, it just got worse.
We hear and sometimes can’t believe he has placed men who know nothing about the jobs he has handed to them and then watched in disbelief when he fired those men because they didn’t think as he does. Sad to say, but I believe he knows nothing about history, does not have the curiosity to read and cannot even get through a speech written out for him.
He has denigrated the Black, brown and immigrant populations. In my opinion, he has placed himself above the law and avoided the good advice of well-respected health officials — and more than 183,000 citizens of our United States of America have died. Now he wants to create a post office problem that only he has created.
Start thinking about America. Use your brains. The people of Germany didn’t realize what Adolf Hitler was doing until it was too late. Forget about your prejudices and put a real man in the White House.
Love those who are different from you and celebrate those differences, and fervently hope that these human beings will gain the success and happiness that most of us have. True happiness will come to all of us. Lift your life, and your family’s lives will improve and doors will be opened to you as never before. Think!
