Here are some questions about the recent outbreak of pro-Palestinian demonstrations at universities and on city streets to consider:
1. Who are these demonstrators — students, other sympathizers, foreign visitors, and/or outside agitators?
2. What percentage of the demonstrators are professional and being paid?
3. Who is funding these demonstrations? There must be considerable expenses to recruit, train, manage and feed the demonstrators.
4. Who is training the demonstrators? Their techniques are clever and effective and attention-grabbing, and in my opinion cannot possibly happen organically.
5. To what extent are foreign rival nations behind these demonstrations in terms of funding and organizing?
6. Are our universities now being used to recruit and indoctrinate young people to hate our nation and culture instead of teaching positive ideals and useful work and life skills?
7. Why are we investing so much money in higher education through student loans, government subsidy of universities and tuition costs when this system produces so many unproductive and destructive individuals who are unable to think logically?
8. Why do these young demonstrators think they know more about foreign policy than those with more life experience?
9. Why do these demonstrators expect the rest of us to give in to their demands?
10. Why are college administrators giving in to their demands?
