To the individuals who stole the Biden for President signs from numerous yards in my neighborhood Sunday morning: What you have demonstrated to me is your ignorance and hypocrisy.

You and your ilk lay claim to being “real Americans,” defenders of the Constitution and supporters of law and order. The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees everyone’s right to freedom of speech. Trespassing and stealing someone’s personal property are violations of the law. You stepped all over the First Amendment and broke two laws when you decided to eliminate my right to free speech by trespassing on my property and stealing my sign.

Even though you and I disagree on who should be leading our country going forward, I would never set foot on your property, steal your sign and infringe on your constitutional right to free speech.

Now I ask you, who is the real American, defender of the Constitution and supporter of law and order?
