The writer of the letter “Renee Good’s blood on Biden’s hands” (Jan. 15, TribLive) at first said it was all President Biden’s fault, or Kamala Harris’ responsibility. Then he concluded it was Good’s own fault. There are several problems with his facts, opinions and omissions.

Biden did not fire three shots into Good’s face. Harris did not shoot and kill Good.

Good was not an immigrant, a murderer or rapist, the “worst of the worst” in the eyes of Donald Trump. Good was shot three times in the face by one of Trump’s secret policemen, ICE agent Jonathan Ross. He did not show a search warrant, an arrest warrant, or bail, bond or custody/detention papers from a court. Secret police wear face masks and have no name tags or service badges.

Immediately after the killing, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who shot her dog, said Good was a “domestic terrorist” and said Ross did what he was supposed to do. Others, including Tom Homan, Stephen Miller, JD Vance and Trump, all asserted Good was a criminal and there would be no investigation of the matter. No need, everyone already knew what happened.

Good was an American citizen. She objected to Trump’s mass deportation policies and police state actions, spoke out against them and was killed. She had First Amendment rights and rights against unlawful search and seizure. She had the right to be a living, active citizen.
