The benevolent Republicans had few legal specifics in their confrontation of Michael Cohen, so they resorted to heartless name-calling, caustic accusations and berating comments toward an obviously remorseful and repentant man. With their “holier than thou” soliloquies, they chose to abandon and bare their souls above human principals and dignity for the sake of their party, their egos and to protect, possibly out of fear, a proven lying president.
