I hope new Speaker of the House Mike Johnson can pull the Republicans together. They used to be conservative and would fight for their principles. I realize that compromise is sometimes necessary, but there comes a time to stand firm and fight for their beliefs.
Many Republicans are either RINOs or spineless. I will not vote for either variety of Republicans. It would be better if they stand firm for their beliefs and fail than totally cave to the left because they are cowards.
The future of our country hangs in the balance. It is not too late to reverse socialism, which seems to be the goal of the Democratic Party, but we must act now.
