Birds of a feather flock together. Every member, except one, of Pennsylvania’s U.S. House delegation has endorsed Sen. Doug Mastriano for governor of Pennsylvania. At the very least, this shows that they don’t have the best interests of their constituents at heart.
Mastriano has been affiliating himself with some of the most extreme Christian nationalist organizations in America. He has paid consulting fees to Gab, a white nationalist social media site whose owner has a long history of spouting antisemitic, Islamophobic, Neo-Nazi and Christofascist views. Mastriano commonly appears at events hosted by Christian nationalist extremist groups such as Pennsylvania for Christ and Patriots Arise for God, Family and Country and has been associated with a group headed by the son of the Unification Church (Moonies) leader, Sun Myung Moon.
Do not be fooled by their patriotic titles and the invocation of God or Jesus Christ. They are hiding behind religion and patriotism to promote their agenda of hate. They promote the overthrow of the government to be replaced by fascism.
A vote for Republicans is a vote to destroy democracy. Vote wisely and intelligently in full awareness of the facts. Republicans and Mastriano have shown us exactly what they are and what they represent, and it isn’t pretty.
