Let’s commend the Trump administration for orchestrating rollout of multiple covid-19 vaccines in a time frame that was considered impossible by experts, and the Biden administration for grabbing the baton and seeing that a large portion of the country gets vaccinated in quick order.

Let’s respect the concerns of those who are reluctant to get the vaccine — no one not named God knows yet if there will be any long-term or widespread negative impacts from these shots. At the same time, all those unwilling to get vaccinated should thank everyone who has — for doing their part in significantly reducing cases of the virus in the U.S. and helping us move back toward normal daily life.

And let’s hope that we can ascertain the real origin of the virus and by the grace of God see that something like this may never happen again.
