I do not hold with taking away guns, but I do think gun laws need changed. It needs to be harder to get a gun of any kind, and we need to shoot the shooter!

In Uvalde, Texas, the cowardly police force stood outside while the children were killed. Who would have believed it? Is it not the responsibility of the police to take immediate action? It seems no one takes responsibility seriously.

Responsibility, in all things, especially gun control. If a child commits a crime with a parent’s gun, that gun has not been properly secured, and the parent is then equally guilty of the crime, in addition to child endangerment and abuse. If you are not raising your child to respect the lives and property of others, you are failing your job of parenting.

Police who stand by instead of protecting lives need to be held responsible for those deaths. They need to be removed from their jobs and face criminal charges. A brave child called for help, and the plea was ignored. This is not acceptable.
