Breaking news! Prices are going up. President Trump’s tariffs are to blame. I hope Americans are not dumb enough to believe tariffs are the only cause for rising prices.
Steelworkers get a big fat raise and better benefits. The prices of all products using steel go up.
Autoworkers get very good contract. The price of cars and trucks goes up. Buyers grumble but still keep buying.
Teachers and nurses make a ridiculous amount of money. Taxpayers in school districts and hospital patients see their bills increasing, but teachers and nurses are not blamed.
Trump is blamed for all the rising prices. Tariffs may increase prices in the short run, but prices were galloping higher before he came into office. Prices will continue to rise even if he abandons the tariffs.
I hope he stays the course. America could become great again.
