Letter to the editor: Second Amendment truth
In response to letter-writer David Millstein’s second take on the Second Amendment (“Scalia held that Second Amendment not absolute,” April 20, TribLIVE), it is neither he nor others’ subjective opinion as to what is meant by absolute.
Perhaps he may wish to dust off some of his history books and read the personal and private writings of our forefathers who wrote the Second Amendment; it is quite clear to see their true meaning.
They reminded us often that all of our liberties come from the infinite creator and not the subjectiveness of finite man.
Remember the beauty of truth is it never needs defending because it defends itself.
