Letter to the editor: Seditious actions by Biden administration

Twenty years ago, on 9/11, a small group of Muslim zealots attacked our country. This was enacted with a modicum of funds but maximum amount of cunning and zealotry. It was abetted by a maximum degree of U.S. naivete and incompetency.

Today, the cunning and zealotry have been enhanced by the seditious gaffes of the bumbling Biden administration. The debacle has been magnified by the following:

1. The desertion of troops, administrators and Afghan allies, who are now at the mercy of the Taliban.

2. The abandonment of billions of dollars’ worth of state-of-the-art military equipment. At a minumum, all of the equipment should have been demolished. What a colossal blunder!

3. A recently installed cadre of top Afghan officials were former Guantanamo Bay military prisoners. They were released in the infamous five-for-one Bowe Bergdahl trade. Five Muslim terrorists were traded for one U.S. Army deserter. This was President Obama’s claim to fame. What a colossal gaffe!

4. The deep state members of the proverbial swamp also are responsible for the role they failed to play. How was the U.S. caught so unaware? Either they failed to provide the intelligence, or they failed to convince the administration to act. What good does it do to have intelligence agencies if our leaders lack intelligence?

Anyone who considers the trumped-up charges promulgated by fake news on our previous president should have a field day with the seditious actions of the current administration. Unfortunately, the “woke” refuse to be awakened.
